Our Mission
Hillcrest Academy’s mission in partnership with students and parents is to pursue excellence of academics, character, and leadership, and to encourage each person to approach life with a sense of inquiry and purpose.

Our Goals
The objective of Hillcrest Academy is to achieve the highest possible academic standards within all grades, as well as:

to provide an appreciation for education and love of learning while addressing the fundamentals of how to study, gather and organize material, listen, think, and reason both independently and cooperatively.

to teach children to read with understanding in order to attain a strong foundation in English, mathematics, and science while allowing sufficient flexibility to encourage creativity within structured programs.

to introduce children to the world through history and geography with the purpose of fostering better understanding and tolerance of other cultures while expanding global awareness.

to help children develop an appreciation of the fine arts, especially art, music, drama, and dance.

to expose children to foreign languages and cultures, especially French and Spanish.

to introduce basic sports and skills stressing the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork.

to advance interpersonal communication skills which aid in the development of poise and teamwork.
